UNDER THE SAFETY APPLIANCE ACTS AND 49 CFR, PART 232.19, A UNIT OR RUN THROUGH TRAIN DOESN'T HAVE TO HAVE IT'S POWER BRAKES RETESTED PROVIDED THERE IS EVIDENCE IN LOCOMOTIVE CAB CERTIFYING BRAKES HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN TESTED ELSEWHER.
