SECTION 339 OF THE CONSOLIDATED FARM AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT ACT AND SECTION 501 OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1949 AUTHORIZE THE SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE TO DETERMINE AND PRESCRIBE STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES FOR CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR, RENOVATION AND PURCHASE OF DWELLINGS AND OTHER STRUCTURES WITH FMHA APPROPRIATED FUNDING RURAL AREAS.
