THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE NECESSARY TO DOCUMENT COMPLIANCE AND CONDITIONS OF MFG. AND TO COMPARE INFORMATION CONCERNING DETAINED DEVICES TO INFORMATION ABOUT OTHER SHIPMENTS OF THE DEVICES. THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE ALSO NECESSARY TO PERMIT FDA TO TRACE ARTICLES FOR WHICH THE DETENTION PERIOD EXPIRED BEFORE A SEIZURE IS ACCOMPLISHED OR INJUNCTIV RELIEF IS OBTAINED.
