Abstract:
THE COMMISSION IS PROPOSING A MANDATORY SAFETY STANDARD AND CERTIFICATION RULE FOR OMNIDIRECTIONAL CB BASE STATION ANTENNAS. RECORDKEEPING REQUIRED BY THE PROPOSED CERTIFICATION RULE WOULD BE USE TO ASCERTAIN COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE STANDARD, RECORDS WOULD BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE COMMISSION AS NECESSARY (E.G., FOR FIEL INSPECTIONS).
