30 CFR PART 11 PRESCRIBES REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES WHICH MUST BE MET IN FILING APPLICATIONS FOR JOINT APPROVAL BY MSHA AND NIOSH OF RESPIRATORS AND MODIFICATIONS TO APPROVED RESPIRATORS. APPLICATION CONTENTS, QUALITY CONTROL PLANS AND QUALITY CONTROL RECORDS ARE REQUIRED (SUBPARTS 11.11, 11.41, 11.43).
