Abstract:
PERISHABLE AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES ACT (7 U.S.C. 499A-499S) ESTABLISHES A MEANS FOR ENFORCEMENT OF MARKETING CONTRACTS BY PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION OF DAMAGES FROM ANYONE WHO FAILS TO LIVE UP TO CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS. LICENSES ARE THE KEY TO THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE ACT AND CAN BE SUSPENDED OR REVOKED FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE LAW.
