FEDERAL AVIATION ACT OF 1958, SECTION 602 (49 USC 1422) AUTHORIZES ISSUANCE OF AIRMAN CERTIFICATES. 14 CFR 61 PRESCRIBES REQUIREMENTS FOR PILOT AND FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATES, AND CFR 143 PRESCRIBES FOR GROUND INSTRUCTORS.
