PROVIDES DATA TO ESTIMATE TOTAL MILK PRODUCTION , NUMBERS OF MILK COWS, PRODUCTION PER COW, PLUS AMOUNTS AND VALUE OF FEED FED TO MILK COWS AT STATE AND NATIONAL LEVEL. ESTIMATES ARE USED BY DAIRY INDUSTRY PLANNING, PRICING AND PROJECTING SUPPIES OF MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS.
