Abstract:
IN ORDER FOR THE U.S. TO MEET THE OBLIGATIONS OF THE CONVENTION ON THE PHYSICAL PROTECTION OF NUCLEAR MATERIAL, IT IS NECESSARY TO REQUIRE THAT LICENSEES PROVIDE ADVANCE NOTIFICATION AND, IN SOME CASES, ASSURANCES OF PROTECTION OF CERTAIN TYPES OF SHIPMENTS OF NATURAL URANIUM.
