Abstract:
SECTION 6050E PROVIDES REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR PAYORS OF STATE AND LOCAL INCOME TAX REFUNDS, CREDITS OR OFFSETS AGREGATING $10 OR MORE IN A CALENDAR YEAR WITH RESPECT TO AN INDIVIDUAL. THE REGULATIONS PROVID RULES AND DEFINITIONS UNDER SECTION 6060E. THE INFORMATION COLLECTED WILL BE USED TO MONITOR COMPLIANCE WITH INCOME REPORTING REQUIREMENTS OF THE RECIPIENTS.
