THESE STATISTICS PROVIDE THE BROADEST MEASURE OF CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY AND ARE USED TO ESTIMATE THE GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT. PUBLIC SECTOR ALSO USES THE DATA TO FORMULATE AND EVALUATE POLICY, WHILE PRIVATE SECTOR USES THE DATA FOR BUSINESS DECISIONS, I.E PRODUCTION LEVELS, SALES QUOTAS AND INVESTMENT ALTERNATIVES.
