FEDERAL LAW (SUBCHAPTER 1 OF 5 USC 85) PROVIDES UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE PROTECTION TO FORMER FEDERAL CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES, REFERRED TO IN ABBREVIATED FORM AS "UCFE." THE FORMS IN THE UCFE HANDBOOK ARE USED TO IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF THE ACT.
