DATA COLLECTED FROM STATE AND LOCAL OFFICIALS ON NEW CONSTRUCTION AUTHORIZED BY BUILDING PERMITS PROVIDE DETAILED GEOGRAPHIC DATA NEEDED BY PLANNERS, POLICY MAKERS, ECONOMISTS AND OTHERS.
