Abstract:
EPA REQUIRES THAT MANUFACTURERS OR PROCESSORS OF CERTAIN CHEMICALS (SUBJECT TO SECTION 4 OF THE TOXIC SUBSTANCES CONTROL ACT) PERFORM SPECIFIED TESTING OR APPLY FOR AN EXEMPTION FROM THAT TESTING. EPA WILL REVIEW THIS INFORMATION TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE SUBJECT CHEMICAL ARE LIKELY TO PRESENT AN UNREASONABLE RISK TO HUMAN HEALTH OR THE ENVIRONMENT.
