Abstract:
FORM TA-1 IMPLEMENTS A STATUTORY REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT FOR TRANSFER AGENTS. THE INFORMATION PROVIDED ON FORM TA-1 IS USED TO DETERMINE IF REGISTRATION SHOULD BE GRANTED. THE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WOULD ENABLE A MORE THOROUGH REVIEW OF TRANSFER AGENTS APPLYING FOR REGISTRATION. RULE 17AC2-1(C) REQUIERES TRANSFER AGENTS TO AMEND FORM TA-1 IF INFORMATION SUBMITTED THEREON BECOMES INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE OR MISLEADING.
