THE FR Y-9 DATA HISTORICALLY HAVE BEEN THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF INFORMATION FOR THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM'S BANK HOLDING COMPANY (BHC) SURVEILLANCE FUNCTION IN ITS ON-GOING MONITORING OF THE FINANCIAL CONDITION OF THESE INSTITUTIONS. BHC'S WITH CONSOLIDATED ASSETS OF $150 MILLION OR MORE ARE REQUIRED TO FILE THIS REPORT.
