Abstract:
THE PURPOSE OF THE RADIATION CONTROL FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT IS TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC FROM UNNECESSARY EXPOSURE TO RADIATION FROM ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS. TO CARRY OUT THIS RESPONSIBILITY, FDA MUST COLLE CERTAIN INFORMATION FROM THE MANUFACTURERS AND DEALERS/DISTRIBUTORS ABOUT THE ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS THEY SELL AND INSTALL. THIS REQUEST CONTAINS SEVERAL TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTIONS AND RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENTS.
