Abstract:
FOOD ADDITIVES. PRODUCT SAFETY. SEC. 409 OF THE FD&C ACT PROVIDES TH A FOOD ADDITIVE WILL BE CONSIDERED UNSAFE UNLESS ITS USE IS PERMITTED A REGULATION WHICH PRESCRIBES THE CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH IT MAY BE SAFELY USED. THIS AMENDMENT REFERS TO LABELING REQUIREMENTS THAT CROS REFERENCE SPECIFIC LIMITATIONS ESTABLISHED BY REGULATION IN RESPONSE T FOOD ADDITIVE PETITIONS. THIS IDENTIFIES EACH SPECIFIC DISCLOSURE LABELING REQUIREMENT ADDED TO THE CLEARANCE.
