Abstract:
THESE REGULATIONS WERE PROMULGATED TO IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF THE MINERAL LEASING ACT OF 1920, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED. THE REPORTI REQUIREMENTS (INFORMATION COLLECTION) ARE FOR THE PURPOSE OF VERIFYING THE APPLICANT'S QUALIFICATIONS TO HOLD FEDERAL MINERAL LEASES FOR SOLI MINERALS OTHER THAN COAL AND OIL SHALE.
