Abstract:
FACILITIES INTENDING TO DISCHARGE ANY POLLUTANT (EFFLUENT) INTO NATIONAL WATERS MUST OBTAIN A PERMIT. APPLICANTS SUBMIT DATA, FORM(S) AND/OR SUPPLEMENTAL DATA TO PERMIT AUTHORITY, DESCRIBING FACILITY LOCATION, RECEIVING WATERS, AND NATURE OF DISCHARGE. THE PERMIT AUTHORITY APPROVES/DISAPPROVES THE REQUEST AND SETS PERMIT CONDITIONS.
