Abstract:
THE REGULATIONS UPDATE AND GENDER NEUTRALIZE ANNUITY TABLES AND PROVIDE ELECTIVE TRANSITIONAL RULES FOR THE USE OF THE NEW TABLES. THE ELECTION STATEMENTS THAT ARE FILED WIL ENABLE THE IRS TO DETERMINE WHETHER A TAXPAYER CORRECTLY COMPUTED THE EXCLUSION RATIO.
