SECTIONS 507(B), 508(A), AND 516(B) OF P.L. 95-87 REQUIRE APPLICANTS FOR UNDERGROUND MINE PERMITS TO PROVIDE A DESCRIPTI OF EACH EXISTING STRUCTURE PROPOSED TO BE USED IN THE MINING AND RECLAMATION OPERATIONS AND A COMPLIANCE PLAN FOR STRUCTURES PROPOSED T BE MODIFIED OR CONSTRUCTED FOR USE IN THE OPERATION. THIS INFORMATION ISUSED BY THE REGULATORY AUTHORITY IN DETERMINING IF THE APPLICANT CAN COMPLY WITH THE APPLICABLE PERFORMANCE AND ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS.
