EPA IS REQUIRING THAT GENERATORS AND/OR TREATERS OF FIRST THIRD HAZARDOUS WASTES FOR WHICH NO TREATMENT STANDARDS HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHE UNDER RCRA DEMONSTRATE TO EPA THAT THEY HAVE COMPLIED WITH THE 268.8 REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFY THE VALIDITY OF THE DEMONSTRATION PRIOR TO DISPOSAL IN A LANDFILL OR SURFACE IMPOUNDMENT.
