Abstract:
THE PROPOSED RULE UPDATES EXISTING REFERENCES TO SPECIFIC SECTIONS OF THE ASME BOILER AND PRESSURE CODE THAT SET FORTH REQUIREMENTS BY WHICH NUCLEAR POWER PLANT COMPONENTS ARE CONSTRUCTED AND INSPECTED. THESE REQUIREMENTS PROVIDE THAT PLANT OWNERS MAINTAIN RECORDS OF CERTAIN SAFETY RELATED ACTIVITIES.
