APPENDIX B TO 10 CFR PART 2 PROVIDES REGULATORY GUIDANCE FOR OBTAINING EXPEDITIOUS ACTION ON RULEMAKING PETITIONS TO EXEMPT SPECIFIC RADIOACTIVE WASTE STREAMS FROM NRC REGULATION BECAUSE THE FIVE RADIONUCLIDES PRESENT ARE IN SUCH LOW CONCENTRATIONS OR QUANTITIES AS TO BE BELOW REGULATORY CONCERN.
