THE PROGRAM PROVIDES NUTRITION BENEFITS TO LOW-INCOME WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN. IT IS ADMINISTERED BY STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. BENEFITS ARE OBTAINED THROUGH RETAIL VENDOR, HOME DELIVERY, AND DIRECT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS.
