THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR REQUIRES FINANCIAL DATA FOR THE TRADE ADJUSTMENT ASSISTANCE (TAA) PROGRAM ADMINISTERED BY STATES, WHICH ARE NOT AVAILABLE FROM THE STANDARD FORM 269A. THE REQUIRED DATA ARE NECESSARY IN ORDER TO MEET STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS, PRESCRIBED IN P.L. 100-418, THE OMNIBUS TRADE AND COMPETITIVENESS ACT OF 1988.
