Abstract:
10 CFR PART 70 ESTABLISHES PROCEDURES AND CRITERIA FOR THE ISSUANCE OF LICENSES TO OWN, ACQUIRE, RECEIVE, USE, POSSESS, AND INITIALLY TRANSFER SPECIAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL. THE INFORMATION IN THE APPLICATION REPORTS, AND RECORDS IS USED BY THE NRC STAFF TO ASSESS THE ADEQUACY O PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY.
