Abstract:
THE PURPOSE OF FORM C-700 IS TO COLLECT THE AMOUNT OF CONSTRUCTION PUT IN PLACE EACH MONTH FROM A NATIONWIDE SAMPLE OF NEW PRIVATE NONRESIDENTIAL BUILDING PROJECTS. THESE STATISTICS ARE USED EXTENSIVE BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN MAKING POLICY DECISIONS AND BECOME PART O THE GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT. THEY ARE ALSO USED BY THE PRIVATE SECTOR FOR MARKET ANALYSIS AND OTHER RESEARCH.
