Abstract:
THE CLEAN WATER ACT (CWA) AUTHORIZES THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA) TO ISSUE PERMITS FOR THE DISCHARGE OF POLLUTANTS TO WATER OF THE UNITED STATES. THE ACT ALSO AUTHORIZES EPA TO ISSUE PERMITS FO THE USE OF DISPOSAL OF SEWAGE SLUDGE. THIS ICR INCLUDES ALL THE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS RELATING TO FACILITIES APPLYING FOR PERMIT TO DISCHARGE WASTEWATER AND TO FACILITIES DISPOSING OR APPLYING SEWAGE
