THIS RULE PROPOSES TO AMEND 24 CFR PART 3500, THE IMPLEMENTING REGULATIONS FOR RESPA, TO REFLECT AMENDMENTS TO RESPA IN THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1992, WHICH ADDS A NEW CLASS OF COVERED TRANSACTION: SUBORDINATE MORTGAGES, AND PROPOSES A NEW SETTLEMENT STATEMENT (HUD 1A).
