Abstract:
THE PROPOSED RULEMAKING WILL ALLOW CERTAIN NON-ELECTRIC LICENSEES MEETING STRINGENT FINANCIAL STANDARDS TO USE SELF-GUARANTEE AS A FINANCIAL ASSURANCE MECHANISM FOR DECOMMISSIONING FUNDING. APPENDIX B TO PART 30 ESTABLISHES THE REQUIREMENTS FOR SELF-ASSURANCE.
