FEDERAL LAW (5 U.S.C. 8521 ET SEQ.) PROVIDES UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE PROTECTION TO FORMER MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES (EX-SERVICEPERSONS) A IS REFERRED TO IN ABBREVIATED FORM AS "UCX." THE FORMS IN CHAPTER V THROUGH VIII OF THE UCX HANDBOOK ARE USED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS BENEFIT ASSISTANCE.
