Abstract:
THE INTERIOR AND RELATED AGENCIES APPROPRIATIONS ACT OF 1993 (P.L. 102 381, 106 STAT 1374) ENACTED A NEW RENTAL FEE OF $100 PER MINING CLAIM OR SITE LOCATED AND MAINTAINED ON THE PUBLIC LANDS UNDER 43 U.S.C. 174 THE FEE IS REQUIRED IN LIEU OF ASSESSMENT WORK UNDER 30 U.S.C. 28. THE FEE IS REQUIRED TO BE COLLECTED BY THE BUREAU. FAILURE TO PAY THE STATUTORILY VOIDS THE MINING CLAIM OR SITE. COLLECTION DATE IS
