Abstract:
THE DEMOGRAPHIC ITEMS IN THE CURRENT POPULATION SURVEY PROVIDE THE BAS DEMOGRAPHIC DESCRIPTIONS FOR THE SURVEY POPULATION. DATA FROM THESE ITEMS ARE USED FOR NATIONAL AND SUBNATIONAL ESTIMATES FOR PUBLICATION, INTERNAL ANALYTIC RESEARCH, AND EVALUATION OF OTHER SURVEY RESULTS. THE NATIVITY AND IMMIGRATION QUESTIONS WILL PROVIDE CURRENT DATA FOR ANALYZING SOCIOECONOMIC CHARACTERISTICS BY NATIVITY AND EVALUATING
