FNS HAS ESTABLISHED REQUIREMENTS FOR COLLECTING AND VALIDATING CACFP INFORMATION TO MONITOR STATE AND LOCAL CONFORMANCE WITH STANDARDS IMPOSED UNDER THE NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH ACT AND TO ENSURE THAT BENEFIT UNDER THIS FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM ARE EXTENDED ONLY TO ELIGIBLE CHILDREN AND ADULTS.
