INFORMATION ON THE DEPOSITING OF BIOLOGICAL MATERIAL IN DEPOSITORIES I COLLECTED FROM (1) PATENT APPLICANTS AND PATENT OWNERS IN ORDER FOR TH PTO TO DETERMINE THAT THE PATENT STATUTE IS COMPLIED WITH WHERE AN INVENTION PATENTED OR SOUGHT TO BE PATENTED RELIES ON A BIOLOGICAL MATERIAL SUBJECT TO A DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT, WHICH INCLUDES NOTIFICATION TO THE INTERESTED PUBLIC WHERE TO OBTAIN SAMPLES OF DEPOSITS, AND (2) DEPOSITORIES DESIRING TO BE RECOGNIZED AS SUITABLE BY PTO.
