Abstract:
THESE INFORMATION COLLECTION ACTIVITIES RELATE TO FSIS' PROPOSAL THAT IS INTENDED TO CLARIFY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ESTABLISHMENT MANAGEMENT TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH SANITATION REQUIREMENTS, ESTABLISH ENFORCEABLE REQUIREMENTS FOR PROMPT CHILLING OF CARCASSES AND PARTS, MANDATE DAILY MICROBIAL TESTING, AND REQUIRE ALL MEAT AND POULTRY ESTABLISHMENTS TO DEVELOP, ADOPT, AND IMPLEMENT HACCP SYSTEMS.
