10 CFR PART 70 ESTABLISHES PROCEDURES AND CRITERIA FOR THE ISSUANCE OF LICENSES TO OWN, ACQUIRE, RECEIVE, USE, POSSESS, AND TRANSFER SPECIAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL. THE INFORMATION IN THE REPORTS AND RECORDS IS USED BY NRC TO ASSESS THE ADEQUACY OF PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY.
