This clearance is approved according to the Paperwork Reduction Act and 5 USC 1320 through June 1998. For each use of this clearance the Census Bureau will send OMB before using them a copy of the forms used and description of the uses. Every year in June the Census Bureau will provide OMB a summary description of how this clearance was used during the year and any problems encountered.

Abstract:
This clearance is for a number of activities the Census Bureau will perform to create and update the MAF and maintain the linkage between it and the TIGER data base. These activities will support the 2000 decennial census and all associated census tests and dress rehearsals, the proposed continuous measurement program, the population estimates program, the economic and agricultural censuses, and the current demographic surveys.
