Abstract:
The amendment incorporates by reference the 1992 edition and addenda of subsection IWE and IWL of the ASME code with four modifications and a limitation. The amendment specifies requirements to assure that critical areas of containments are routinely inspected to detect defects that could compromise a containment's pressure-retaining integrity.
