Abstract:
The Safety Standard for Automatic Residential Garage Door Operators establishes requirements to reduce risk of injury from entrapment by garage doors. Certification regulations require manufactureres, importers, and private labelers of automatic garage door openers to test their products for compliance with the standard and to maintain records of testing.
