Abstract:
The information collection requirements of this standard are necessary to assure compliance with the requirement for mechanical power presses. The inspection is intended to assure that the mechanical power processes are in safe operating condition, and that all safety devices are working properly. The failure of these safety devices could cause serious injury or death to an employee.
