Terms of Clearance:
Approved consistent with clarification in VA memo of 11-15-00. VA shall continue to submit individual customer satisfaction surveys to OMB and OMB will review these submissions and respond to VA within 10 working days of receipt. VA will alsokeep a tally to ensure that the annual burden of customer satisfaction surveys does not exceed the amount approved in this generic clearance.

Abstract:
Voluntary customer surveys will continue to be used to implement E.O. 12862. The VA will gather the necessary information to determine the kind and quality of services our customers want and their level of satisfaction with existing services. The information will continue to be used to focus the planning and problem solving efforts to customer service issues valued by veterans and their families.
