Approved consistent with clarifications described in DOL memos of 12-29-00 and 1-10-01 and revised package attached. In addition, the following terms shall be observed. 1. OSHA shall regularly brief OMB on the development of the construction data initiative. 2. Approval is granted for all categories except for employers with fewer than 40 employees in category 9 of response 2 in the supporting statement. 3. OSHA will continue to report on the progress of electronic filing of the ODI. 4. OSHA shall continue the audits of data quality focusing particularly on the quality of responses from smaller firms. 5. OSHA will implement the audit recommendations including recommendations including the first recommendation which is consistent with TOC 4 above. 6. OSHA shall brief OMB on the findings from using the ODI data in conjunction with IMIS data to evaluate OSHA interventions in FY 2000.
