Abstract:
Final Rule, 10 CFR 50 and 72, Decommissioning Trust Provisions. The NRC is proposing to amend its regulations on decommissioning trust agreements. The proposed action would require that the trust provisions be in a form acceptable to the NRC and contain general terms and conditions that the NRC believes are required to ensure that funds in the trust will be available for their intended purpose.
