Abstract:
This information collection's application forms are used by for-hire motor carriers of regulated commodities, freight forwarders, property brokers, and certain Mexican motor carriers to register their operations with the FMCSA. This revision is due to a notice of proposed rulemaking titled, "New Entrant Safety Assurance Process," which would also require non-North America-domicilied motor carriers of property and passengers to register their operations with the FMCSA.
