Short Statement: PL 110-28, sec. 8214, waives the alternative minimum tax limitation for the work opportunity credit and the credit for employer social security and Medicare taxes paid on certain employee tips, so these two credits are removed and the Line 1 elements (except for Lines 1a and 1w) are renamed accordingly. In addition to the renaming, the last four elements u, v, w, and x have been rearranged to comply with the ordering in IRC sec. 38.
