Abstract:
The information is being collected to meet the requirements of Sections 415, 507, 508, 510, 515, 701 and 711 of PL 95-87, which require applicants for special types of mining activities to provide descriptions, maps, plans and data of the proposed activity.

OSM is proposing rulemaking to allow a waiver of reclamation fees by a State regulatory authority as an incentive for remining operations which would apply only to production of coal by removal of abandoned coal mine refuse for reprocessing or direct use off site.
