Burden Reduction Due to:
Changing Regulations
Short Statement:
Burden is reduced by -2,862 hours. Changes made to the swine reporting requirement by the Reauthorization Act resulted in a decrease of swine respondents. Other changes are the result of changes to the Program that will reduce the reporting burden on packers where possible. In other cases AMS has deleted individual data fields from reporting forms but since this information is submitted electronically, there is no measureable reduction to the burden per response.
